We're not great with numbers, but even we can see that's awesome. How'd we get here? In 1983, six rowdy businessmen with no restaurant experience--but an appetite for chicken wings--got together to open a place they couldn't get kicked out of. True story. They created the first Hooters, and then they made history. Rescuing millions from the ordinary! When we started, we wanted to put all the stuff we love in one place. Food we crave, ice-cold beer, and all the sports you could possibly watch on wall-to-wall big screen TVs. And let's not forget the Hooters Girls. Their one-of-a-kind hospitality makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. It all seems so simple, we can't believe nobody else thought of it.
